A Burgh Wedding: We Crash a High School Graduation Party

The posed pictures at the altar were done (is it bad that I didn't really care about the posed church shots?) and we were off for a quick outdoor shoot with the bridal party.  Our ceremony started at 5:00, was over at 5:45, and cocktail hour started at 6:00 (Friday wedding).  So, we needed to go somewhere close and fast.  I came up with the genius idea to take pictures at a community park, next to an old apartment complex of mine.  Everyone jumped in the limo and away we went!

Of course, there was free champagne to drink in the limo. Mmmm... champagne.  Two of K's groomsmen really took it up a notch, however, and whipped out a bottle of Cristal.  Holy Eff.  I've never even SEEN a bottle of that stuff, let alone taste it!  It was good, but honestly, I can't really tell the difference in quality of alcohol.  I usually just drink whatever wine/champagne is on sale at the liquor store.  I know, I'm a class act all the way.

I've already shown you guys this picture, but here it is again.  K and I with the Cristal.

After a 10 minute ride, we were at the park.  The park that is usually empty and quiet.  Well not that night, because it was someone's high school graduation party!  People everywhere.  Oh well, we went for it anyway.  Everyone at the party loved it (we were told several times). We were a big, entertaining parade of fanciness and sweat.  Yeah, it was HOT out, 'member?  Despite the crowd, Tony did a good job of making the park look deserted.

Everyone was covered in mud and sweating their bits off by this point.  We told everyone to go back to the limo and have some beverages, while K and I had a one-on-one photo shoot.

Then pause for a few bridal portraits.  I really wanted to go sit in the air conditioning at this point.

One more shot by the limo (after a drunk family member of the graduate threw K a beer... score).

Now, the moment we had ALL been waiting for... time to party!  Stay tuned (as if you had a choice)!
